	Independence and National Day 2012 celebrated
	The Independence and National Day 2012 was celebrated on March 26 at Jessore Science & Technology University (JSTU). In the morning a rally organized by the university authority at Monihar, Jessore. The rally was leaded by the honorable Vice Chancellor of JSTU. After the rally, a discussion session and cultural programs were arranged by the JSTU authority. In this session, the key note speech was delivered by Mr. Md. Abdul Muyeed, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Islamic University, Kushtia. Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar, honorable Vice Chancellor of the university was present as the chief guest and Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Applied Science and Technology; was present as the Chairman of the program.

	Birthday of the Father of the Nation celebrated
	The father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 92nd birthday was celebrated at the JSTU on March 17, 2012. The honorable Vice Chancellor of JSTU, Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar was present as the chief guest in the celebration program. Staff of the university and students were participated in the program.

	International Mother Language and Martyr Day at JSTU
	A rally of the staff and students was organized at the JSTU campus on February 21. The rally was leaded by the honorable Vice-Chancellor of the JSTU, Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar. A discussion meeting was arranged just after the rally.
